Have just a minute to drop in and say hello. We are at our last carnival of the season. The Puyallup Fair in Puyallup, WA. It is a 17 day run and we are on day 5.

We have been asked to come back next year. Ron wants to talk to Rob (the boss) before we make a decision.

We are so looking forward to some down time. After a week of tear down we will be off to Pasco, then Lewiston and then making our way back to Blaine. Need to see the grandbabies and the kiddo's. Guess Max, who is almost 12 would not like to be called a grandbaby :)

I have made a few more posts on my blog and even posted pictures. Learned how to put watermarks on my pictures. That was a two day affair.

I look forward to catching up with you on a regular basis after the 26th of September.

If you are in the Puyallup area give a shout if you make it to the fair.

Check out my blog with the link below if you want to catch up with us that way.

Talk to you all again soon.

There's light at the end of the "carnival" tunnel! You've almost made it. I just bet you are more than ready to go visit family!!

I went to the Puyallup Fair the year I went to visit my son in Seattle. I love fair food so good thing I don't have your job. My son liked the Scones which we don't have at our festivals. I enjoyed seeing all the animals, some different from what we see. I have enjoyed hearing about your year with the carnival. Have a good vacation.

Great to know that you are close to some "vacation" time and some rest from your adventures.... Let us know what you decide and enjoy your family time!

It's hard to believe the season is almost over, isn't it? It was interesting hearing about your job. My job here at Saylorville Lake in IA ends at the end of Sept. Heading out west. Thought I had a volunteer job for my site, but now they seem to want someone who is retired. I'm back to job hunting! Let us know if you decide to go back with the carnies next year. Are you taking the winter off?

Our plans for immediately following the close of the Puyallup Fair is that Ron will have about a week of work doing tear down. I am going to go up to Blaine and pick up our Suburban, see Jamie, Opal and Suzanne, pick up a few things from the storage unit, connect with a few friends and see the doctor so I can get my prescriptions refilled. I will be in Blaine for a couple of nights.

Once back in Puyallup will just putz around the motor home until Ron is done with tear down. We are then off to Pasco, WA for a couple of nights, then onto Lewiston, ID for 2 weeks and then heading back to Blaine via Omak, WA to connect with a friend. Once we are back in Blaine we will see what work we can find. We are also looking for a job selling Christmas Trees - have sent out a few emails but haven't heard anything back yet. If you hear of anything, please don't hesitate to let me know.

We have been asked to come back next year to work the carnival season of 2011 with a chance to go to Texas at the end of Funtastics season next year too. We have not made a decision yet but will be doing that soon so we know what we need to do for work.

I will definitely keep you all informed of what we are doing and where we are.

Thanks for asking.
