Meet "Big Red"

My long awaited new tow vehicle has finally arrived. I picked it up yesterday and drove it 200 miles today to take my vacationing "doggy guest" back home. A great handling/driving truck. With a MAX trailering package and a 6.2 liter V8 engine, it's an overkill for my current trailer, but who knows what will happen down the line. Plus good resale factor. I'll be paying for it the rest of my life!!!!

Some interior shots. I had a few options deleted when I ordered and kept the dashboard area simple. Don't need a lot of buttons and gadgets to have to look at and fiddle with when I am towing the trailer. Need to keep my eyes on road and mirrors. Want to be able to just reach over and adjust something without averting my eyes.

Nice truck! Hope it's everything you need, and more! I agree with the keep it simple part. You can get more gadgets than you'll ever use or need - and they do distract.

Hey, Sue---nice truck! I don't know if you ever saw these pics of mine that I posted back in April when I first got mine, but it would seem that Sues like pretty red trucks! Here's the Ford version:

From the side.....

And from the rear!

Both doors open to show front cab and Molly's spot in the back.

Cockpit.

Image
Radio and more---heater, MP3 hole, USB slot, CD player, trailer brake, and other stuff I can't see from here!

Image
Gauges and more.

Image
Rear electric window with defroster----basketball standard that needs work out back!

I have since had the camper top added to it, which I am sure you have seen.

HAPPY TOWING WITH YOUR NEW FLASHY TRUCK!!

Nice truck, Sue! My truck is much smaller (Dodge Dakota), but it's my toad behind my mh, Myrtle. I'm sure you will love yours :D At least if you get a bigger tt or fifth wheel, you won't have to go truck shopping again ;)

Cool red truck! Nice job picking it out and when you decide you need a bigger trailer, you'll be ready!

Our previous truck was red too, but it was too little to pull our TH. Tha Hemi couldn't hang, LOL, so we went back to diesel.
Here's Ronnie saying goodbye.

Bee-U-tiful!! Congrats and hoping you enjoy many safe miles with it!
Didn't Molly's Mom (anyone heard from Trudy lately?), buy a big red truck to pull her 5th wheel? I guess RVing gals love big red trucks!!

Nice choice. Red anything always goes faster, so watch the weight on the pedal.v :D Good idea to get more truck than you need right now also. Enjoy hauling with it. Linda
