Day one of my New England Trip. I'm looking forward to a relaxing week with the Alabama sistahs, and some time out in the kayak.

Pretty neat! I've heard rumors that we were related to Davey Crockett on my father's side but put it down to just that...rumors. Seems everyone in Missouri, Oklahoma, and Arkansas is related to either Davey, Butch Cassidy or the Younger Bunch. Could be the rumors are true, Rebecca and I have the same last maiden name. Hmmmm.....ya never know, but I sure wouldn't put any bets on it!

I'm heading out for New Jersey on the 18th. I probably won't have time to stop in Alabama going but might get to stop on the way back but you will gone by then. Hope I get to see Beth and Jean.

I love COE campgrounds! All the ones we've stayed at were so very well maintained. I wish I could have seen Bandit creeping up to see the ducks.

Have a wonderful trip my way, Liz! I sure do hope I can see you on this trip, and, possibly, if the timing is right, we could head south together to FL!
Say Hi to Beth and Jean for me, and to Sarah, too, although it looks as if she'll be gone for a week, or so.
I can't wait to see your latest adventure pics! I hope you can take your time on this journey!

I am planning to make my way leisurely in your direction Soos. I'll pm you when I'm getting close....see if you're home & want company. We'll talk about the trip south then. It's great that you're planning that!

And she is off.... Herschel says that if you place a bucket (or old kitty litter container) in the front passenger foot area carefully covered with plush doggy/kitty comfort bedding, he recommends the extended lounging area it provides.
It only works when there are no human navigators present. But then he is also slightly larger than Roe and has been know to share his seat with Remi, if sitting on Remi counts as sharing.
Okay maybe he isn't actually sitting ON Remi but with all the fur it sure looks funny! Have fun...looking forward to following more adventures. As always, even if we hurry through and don't stop and post, thanks for thinking of us.
