7 Weeks to Go

As we finished up this weeks carnival in Longview I realized we only have 7 more weeks to go and we will be done with our first carnival season. So I did what comes naturally...I blogged about it. You can read all about it using hte link below.

Today started with memories of 33 years ago...our sons were born 8 1/2 weeks early. Royce weighed in at 4 lbs 8 oz and Jamie 3 lbs 12 oz. Sad to say that Royce only lived for three days yet we know he is in a better place. Jamie is 33 today! Hard to believe my tiny little imp is now 5' 10", weighs close to 200 lbs and has a sweetie and daughter of his own.

Then off to work for the day. Only had to work 6 /12 hours today. The guys are doing tear down as I write this and contemplate going to bed.

Caught up on your blog and you answered my question - would you do it again. So neat that you would and probably will. Good luck on this winter. You mentioned selling Christmas trees - that can be very lucrative- so I would pursue that if you can.

Hope the answers about the winter season unfold in a timely manner. The unknowing is sometimes unnerving.. I have always thought that everyone should work directly with the public early on in their lives and maybe just maybe it would give them a better understanding of how the world works and patience with those that work on the front line ...at least patience for those that are actually doing their job and remaining professional at the same time
