Talked to Soos tonight and mentioned I changed sites - she asked if I had pictures - OK - they are on my blog now.

Great location, Beth. That lot would cost $$$$. Aren't we lucky :D :D All these inflatable kayaks are making me jealous. Might have to look into it or maybe try one at the gtg  carold

Looks like you really are parked in a great place. i love the fact you can see the water from your site, and also have privacy outside when you choose. Really a nice park. I liked Monte Sano too, but think you're in one that would be my choice if I had to make a choice that is.

Good Luck with the getting the arms to do what you want them too. You may still be able to keep up with the others, you have time to get those muscles knowing they have to work now :) So many getting Kayaks, almost has me thinking :)

I really enjoyed the pix of the park, helps me in my decisions for futures travels. Beautiful place.

Beautiful site.

Do you kayakers take a dry box out with you, as a 'just-in-case' ?

My "just-in-case" is my pfd. The water here is sooooooooo warm, it's wonderful.

Carol - would still love to have you leave early for AR and come visit! I like Monte Sano, also - but this is my preference, too. Only thing I miss are the trails - but not with the ticks I was having to deal with. They were terrible.

What a great site! In the woods and by the water, the best of both worlds! How far away are you from Jean?
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Not far, Barbie - just a short walk up the hill. And since Peaches and I walk every road in this cg several times a day - it's still easy to stop in.
