GREAT photography, as usual, Liz! I especially love the digital video clips----it's so much like being there again for me! I LOVED Yellowstone, but haven't been there since the 60s. I sat in an outhouse there one evening, with the door open (no people there at all back then) and watched and listened to a pack of wolves chasing after a herd of elk! An experience I will never forget. I don't think any of the animals even knew I was there!

Now that's an experience I can't match! Bring back that adventuresome spirit Soos, now that you're retired. We were hoping to see the wolves, but it was not to be this trip.

Great pics Liz. Just love traveling with you. Way back when I was a tween, the family drove cross country to Calif. We stopped in Yellowstone and was just in awe of the beauty of the place. We only stayed for 2 days, but the memories are still with me. Linda

Apparently it's been called by a few different names from way back http://www.yellowstoneupcloseandpersonal.com/name.htm But I'm gonna guess Elk River.
