Hope looking spiffy sporting her new radio collar!

"Update July 9, 2010 - 9:59 PM CDT

Hope was off foraging on her own in the boonies today. Lily was across a lake and 1.5 to 2 miles away from her as the crow flies. We checked on Hope’s radio-signal throughout the day, and by 9 PM she had moved closer to a road. We’ll likely be able to reach her with formula, etc., in the morning. We were very glad to get the scat from her yesterday totally filled with wild food—ant pupae."

For those of you who are interested in the latest on litle Hope, the orphaned bear cub.

Just talked to my son in FL, and he and Melissa are busy packing their rented massive-sized U-Haul diesel truck and are moving into their new place as I type!! They stayed at the new place last night until after 10:00, celebrating with champagne!

Great news for the kids that everything is final and they're moving in!!! I know you can't wait to get down there and enjoy it with them.

It sure is exciting!

Here's a picture of where they are tonight, after moving all their furniture and stuff all day long with huge U-Haul in the 100+ heat!

Outside of the new house.

View of their house and surrounding property. Their house is across the pond, on the left-hand side of the pic. They own 11.5 acres here, including this spring-fed pond.

Before they bought it, my son dreams about owning it as he looks out the windows at the property and pond!

I can't wait to see it in person! What an amazing feeling for them to be spending the first night in their wonderful new house!

Oh Soos! What a gorgeous house and property!! You will love parking down there in the winters! (Probably can't get by with skinny dipping tho :roll:

It's in the St. Cloud area----right about mid-center FL. My house down there is just about 20 minutes north of there, in the Williamsburg area.
