Or, some of us use Word Press:
http://wordpress.com/And there are other options out there, also. Find one that works for you.

Carol,
I will say, the first time I set up a blog, I didn't like it and didn't keep up with it. Now I'm sorry - as many of my notes, etc from my first few years full-timing are lousy. But the blog since I started it last spring, is like having my own journal, also. I love it. I do it as much for me as for my family and friends. Of course, because they'll and you'll all be reading - I'm more conscious of what I'd say than in a personal journal - but it's still wonderful. I go through it to relive my AK trip - instead of all my pictures. Which I had stuck with my first one from the beginning.
I now love doing it. But I'm not as good as those who write everyday, still. I do keep a little notebook with all my driving and mileage where I stop, etc, too.

Hi Cat,
I am using blogger this summer to document my travels. I liked the predesigned templates, so I could just type and insert pictures. I must admit, I didn't try Wordpress. That may be just as easy.
Bethers makes a great point. It is a time commitment. And sometimes after a day of travel or sightseeing, you just don't feel like updating it. But it is worth it in the end.
Good luck with yours!
Love,
Sharon

Thanks for the encouragement. I'm really not a writer and as a young girl couldn't keep a diary for more than 3 months.
I thought it would be an easy way for friends and family to see pictures of my trips so I wouldn't have to send them individually.
I noticed that Liz has a new blog page for each of her postings. I like that so you don't have to go through all the pictures to get to the newest posts. How is that done?
Hope I get the hang of this "new-fandangled" web thing.

My blog automatically gives me a new page for each post. I have the blog set so only my two most recent posts show - it can be set any way you want. Then there is an index next to it showing the older posts - I use blogger - found it pretty easy to use.

The new pages appear if you link directly to a specific blog post. If you go to the blog itself, you'll get more. I prefer not going directly to pages, and being able to scan through the last several posts on a person's blog - because I usually don't get to it for each post. Just a personal preference. Mine is set for the number of pictures - or text - before it changes to the next page.
