Announcement!
Posted: Thu Jul 08, 2010 8:33 pmI am pleased to announce that my baby boy is now engaged to his sweet girlfriend of 4 years. He proposed on Monday and here is a pic of the happy couple minutes after it became official.
He had been planning to pop the question at a ball game they had tickets for on the 4th. A few days before they were watching something on TV where there was an engagement and she said "Wouldn't it be neat to have pictures of that exact moment?' so he delayed his plan til the next day. He planned a picnic in the park and I was supposed to sneak up with a camera to capture the moment. Well, he didn't want her to see me and blow the surprise so I'm hiding behind trees, (yes think, child molester)trying to get behind them. They start walkin over to the pavilion and there's nothing but open space between me and them so I miss the big moment. But took the picture minutes after.Wedding in 2 years after they both graduate.
