That was neat about the telephone operator, I guess I didn't realize that many people would have had phones in 1908. Was Folsom a ghost town now or was that just part of it?

That was most of it. There was a small museum there about the "Folsom Man", but we didn't go in.

OMG, I had forgotten the drive up that mountain. I looked over once and saw Carole leaning towards me as if that would keep us from going over the edge. The year we were there they had a lot of rain and the fields were solid with sunflowers so when you looked down all you saw was yellow. It was beautiful. Thanks for the return trip.

Am thinking need to make a trip back to NM
very good enjoyed the trip so much
and I know we wouldn't have walked down or up or what ever you
did
so saw things we wouldn't have

WONDERFUL photos Liz. Love catchin up on your beautifully narrated travels.
More places to put on my "to visit" list when I can finally get my RV out and about one day.
