Sitting outside a visitor center at the end of the Confederate Bridge heading into Prince Edward Island (PEI) and staying at some friends place-seems like they have quite a few rv sites in their "yard". Not quite sure. Had a choice between view of the Northumberland Strait w/o sewer connection (but a dump available) or with sewer and no view-not a hard choice. It rains almost every other day, so we do what we can. Don't know how long we will be staying-was hoping to get in some tennis with them. There's free wifi here so we've posted some blogs with pics. Who knows when it will come again :( Hope everyone is doing well. carold

Oh, Carol, I just got caught up on your blog. Love what you're doing and seeing. Would love to do the hike to see those thousands of birds. Wow. I hope you get a chance to play tennis, and that you have some dry days. Seems the weather only cooperates when IT wants to.

Thanks for bringing us up-to-date.

Love your pictures! I've always wantd to visit PEI ever since reading Anne of Green Gables.
Yep, those islands of birds stink!! We use to pass by Gull Island as we crossed over to Peterson's Bay off the spit in Homer, Alaska, and I sure remember the smell!! Also the noise. which in the summer in 24/7 up there! To me it sounded like a thousand school kids on a playground all yelling etc. lol
