So Many Neat Plans

Gee, reading through the various posts and threads on this site, I see so many neat plans and dreams out there. And also the plans and dreams that have come true for those of you who are pursuing them right now. Gives me lots of inspiration. Can't wait till next year when I can start on SS and get my plans/dreams going too. Like a lot of you, I want to sell my house and hit the road for awhile. It's scary when I think about letting go of house and roots, etc. But yet the freedom of not having to worry about it, is enticing too. I love my big yard here, almost 4 acres ( a couple in woods) and gives my dogs room to run, that I almost hate to part with it. But I don't need three bedrooms, two baths and a full basement for one person. I don't plan to be on road full time but would like to find a small place I can call home when I want to stay put for awhile. And as some have said, listing with RE can add bucks to your cost of selling although the RE agents are better prepared to show homes, take care of the little details and paperwork. With me working summers etc., I can't be here to deal with prospective buyers, keep things in order here, maintain my yard and all that not to mention advertising etc. But I think I have my rig choices narrowed down anyway. A van to convert into a camper, a Rockwood Mini Light and a Springdale 5th wheel. The Springdale would require a new truck to tow it with though and that might go over budget. But there are some good deals out there. Van would be good cause of better mileage than truck and trailer would get and also be more universal. Have an order written up for one, but can't order till July, so have time to make up my mind. for now the thoughts of hitting the road and seeing some of the states I haven't been too just keeps me rolling along.
