What a Roller Coaster we Ride called Life

Feeling sad right now. Just got word from our son, Brandon, that his darling wife, Danalyn, lost the baby she was carrying. It is so hard to be so far away from them during this time. Both Ron and I wished we could have crawled through the phone lines to give them both a big hug from us.
Yesterday we were sky high with excitement about a new little one joining our family and today we crashed, hard. I know the One in charge knows what He is doing, but it still makes it hard right now.
Thanks for listening. I just needed to share.

I feel for your DIL as I was in that situation many times! People used to have the feeling that it was not that big of a deal...now they know that you need to mourn for that little one! Phone calls and cards will be great they will know that you too mourn with them as you have lost a grand child...my thoughts go out to you all

Ali, so sorry for your loss. Anticipated new life cut short is a very devastating event, even though one's brain might know it was destined to be so. Hugs for you and your family as they mourn this loss. I wish you could be there with them, too, but hearing from you will be very comforting to them as well.

Sorry Ali for the loss of your grandchild, our DIL lost two babies last year and we were all bummed about it. DIL is due to have little Charlotte in July. I'm praying everything goes smooth this time and she has a easy delivery. The last delivery was 18 yrs ago and not easy...they really want this new little one. I pray your DIL has another chance soon
