Am sad to see my soon-to-be-new-home state of TN flooded and under such severe weather warnings. My thoughts and prayers go out to those of you who are there. Please be careful! Hope all is well with you all out there.

Our power has been off all night and just now came back on. There are tornadoes all over the place. The NOAA radio hasn't gone off in almost 10 minutes, which is the longest period for most of the night! So far, so good. I have the Little Beast tied down to an anchor, so she's my little Anchor Baby...(just kidding).
Hope everyone else is okay, too!

WOW, guess I've missed those weather reports. Hunker down, and be safe. Prayers of Protections for all of those currently making TN home.

Been thinking about ya' Mitch. Glad you are safe and well-anchored. I'm praying those storms go on through with no further damage.

Scary times, Mitch-----please keep in touch as often as you can, as we will worry. That goes for any others in Tornado Alley, also. I would be insane if I had to constantly listen for tornado alarms like that. I feel ashamed to complain about cold and ice and snow when I think of other way more dangerous weather events.

Thanks for checking in, Mitch! I was amazed at the film footage on the news this morning of the flooding, and also saw the worse of the storms was still going across your state and KY. Arkansas, north of Little Rock, got hit and one person perished. Yep, prayers for safety for everyone in harms way.

Glad to hear from you Mitch. Stay safe.
And any of the others in the storm's path - please let us know you're ok.

Yes, stay safe everyone! I read Margie's blog and she's at her son's in Nashville, they are on a hill, but she posted pics of the flooding around them. What about BJ/Redetotry, I think she's in south IL. Sharon, I don't think Mitch has a basement, but I think she should carry around a straw, since she's already so low to the ground to begin with.
I couldn't believe all the pics on the weather channel with I-24 & I-40 with all the water, vehicles and bldgs floating down the road. Yall stay safe and check in when you can.

Glad to hear you're OK Mitch. Scary weather for sure. Good to know you are keeping Abby close to so she can't be uprooted. Keep safe all in the path of these terrible storms. Linda

I'm getting ready to call Mitch right now. She hasn't been online since a little before 9 this morning. I've sent her 5 pm's and she's usually on and off the computer all day. The only thing I can think of is her electricity is out and she doesn't have cell phone coverage where she lives. I'll let yall know.
