..

We received a notice in the mail about a class action settlement for certain lawn mowers purchased between 1994 and 2010. We should be getting $75 from the lawsuit, based on what I read (we bought a Toro Professional Zero Turn 4 years ago). It was VERY simple to fill out the online claim form, once you have the requested information (mower brand and s/n, engine brand and s/n). Thought I'd pass this on in case any of you ladies might be eligible.

Main reason I'm RVing fulltime is to AVOID having to mow anything. If the grass around my rig is too tall I call the office.

the office doesn't even let us plant grass, everybody has rocks in their yard, but
I guess thats better than rocks in their head, but there are just a few of my
neighbors that are just a tad questionable in the rocks dept.
oh wait, we were talking about grass and lawn mowers weren't we .....

I got a card like that too. I was going to fill out the form for the JDeere, but I wonder if I can do it for Ronnie's two push mowers too or if it's just one per person. I know it's $75. for riding mowers and $35. for push mowers.

The online form allows for 4 inputs, I believe.

But wouldn't you be surprised when that check arrived? You could pay for cooking lessons.
(what's with the 10 years?)

Well, if I couldn't cook I wouldn't live the long time it took to get the check, now would I. :D I'll leave it to you in my will and You can remember me when you're at cooking classes.
(I just figure these class action lawsuits take forever)

My mower uses a rechargeable battery, no gas for me. Good info, though.

What if you no longer have the mower, but have the receipt? I can't see anything good coming from a lawsuit about misrepresenting a product. Happens all the time. As long as there were no injuries because of it, what's the big deal. Just my 1 cent. Linda

I once paid $5,000 for a bigger engine on a car. I sure would have been ticked off if I unknowingly didn't get the engine I paid for...be kinda like throwing 5 grand down the toilet.
