Good Morning to anyone checking out our new forum. I am looking forward to Barbzeee's morning posts once again. I hope we will be joined by more of the ladies. The sun is out in Douglas and the temp is still cool and comfortable. I work today but then am off for four days - yipee. I'm still working on painting the cupboards in the RV - a house is a lot easier, but I'm getting there bit by bit.

Am so sorry MsB Haven has apparently broken her ankle. She was going to stop by when she was in Wyoming so I'll miss meeting her.

Okay, time to go walk the dogs - they're whining at the door.

Glad to see your post - and I just approved about 5 more of the ladies, so hopefully they'll be on to join us here! Please make sure all of you pass on the message to others.

We'll have to work on how to put the code in your signature - for the signature (where you put it) you need the img code. If you want it on the right like I did - that's where you put the code you did - for the avatar one

I know, it's different. But it'll get easier as you get used to it.

Cedar, I'm responding to your email here - cuz I just approved you and I know you'll be here reading this -

First, you asked if you could post a link to your personal blogs YES YES YES - I suggest you make it part of your profile AND put it in your signature. Let's make it easy for all of us to find them. And if any of you think it would be helpful, we could have a room to post personal blog addresses to be able to find everyone's in one place (if everyone will post theirs there.) Let me know what you think.

You also asked about your tags, etc. As long as you have permission to use them or own the copyright yourself, you can post images. On images if anyone is asked where they obtained an image or for proof of copyright, they need to have it or the image will be deleted. This will only be a problem if someone is posting images they obtain on the internet - and then they need to have the appropriate credit or permissions.

By the way, that holds true for copying text on the internet, also. If you find a good story, usually it's better to link to it - than to copy it - just to be safe

Cedar has also told me that she'll be starting her own cafe press store. Neat, eh? Guess what Cedar, you can have a link to it also In your signature - and if you want to advertise it, notice we have an advertising room.

OK - I'm working today - took a break to walk Peaches and see if we had more women to be approved - and to post. BTW, this is not MY forum - this belongs to all of us that are starting it - I'm just the keeper of the website

OK,... I've fumbled and stumbled around trying to post a pic of my rig .... so how about a "how to" section,.... bullet format instructions on how to post pictures, create our pic on side, signatures, add links ..... I've tried every possible thing with the Img button above, to no avail!

Cedar,I'll be happy to do a room with some instructions - but it might be just a little while. Meantime, click on the FAQ button on the upper right and see if that helps you.

As to pictures, if you want one like mine on the side, go into your user control panel and follow to create an avatar. Once there follow to adding when from OFF the forum - you'll need to provide the url. Go to the picture on Photobucket and take the url (the one starting http://) and enter that into the spot, and voila, you have an avatar. You do want this to be a fairly small pic, same as you would for a signature.

In your signature, you can post a picture by going into the same user control panel and put in the code Photobucket gives you starting with [img} (basically the same code you'd need to insert an image in a message, too.

Will take me a bit to sort this all out, but so glad to have a relaxe atmosphere here. We will have the good mornings and a bit of sunshine now. Thanks Beth for all your hard work.

well I can't really say good morning cause its good afternoon for me as this is
the time I get on the puter after work during the week. But I'm so looking
forward to coffee with ya's on the weekends. So now I'm off to check out
the avatar thing and decide what pics I wanna work with.
