Hey, all.....Before someone here sends out the "Mounties", I thought I'd drop a few lines to let you all know that the Sultan and I are fine....Just working our butts off here at old Holbrook Pond Campground....we have been totally full in the RV section for 3 weeks straight and last weekend the tenting section was full too.... So by the time I can sit down and read here, it's 10-11pm and all I end up doing is just reading...posting every once in awhile, if the fingers are working right.... and when I can keep the eyes open....But we soon will be leaving our "winter home" of camp hosting and heading north....We plan to leave here April 1st heading for the Ft. Fisher/Cape Fear, NC area for a little R&R to do some surf fishing and resting....then travel up the coast a little farther to Onslow Beach, Camp Lajune, NC (Marine Corps campground) for a week or so....then arriving at the summer campground around May 1st.....I have some photos to post of Kellie's visit (Kelpie) and will do that as soon as I get the chance......It's finally warming up here after a colder that usual winter....okay, I'm done with my reporting in.. ...

Sorry you're having to work so hard your last month! And worse that the weather wasn't so nice this year. Just heard from a friend in Alabama they are getting a dusting of snow tonight. That's unheard of there this late in the season. Such a strange weather year. Enjoy your trip north - relax, and let's hope this summer's weather is better than what the winter has brought.

Thanks for checking in, Lori. I know you both will enjoy relaxing after this month is over. Just think of all the work as job security!

Always good to hear from you guys! Only a little over a week left and then you can sleep in or stay up late. At least for a bit until you get to your next post.

Isn't it the end of a season ....(brains not working and can't come up with the term) but both sad and exciting?
at least that is what we found out was not wanting it to end but at the same time couldn't wait!

Sorry you're having to work so hard Lori, but I smile when I think of the Sultan bringing you breakfast in bed every morning. He does bring you breakfast doesn't he?

Glad to here all is right in your world even if VERY busy. I know that you two enjoy the people (for the most part) and if you have to work "butts" off...that campground is a nice place to do it given the jobs that don't include beautiful trees and long walks with Mr. Spinner. Can't wait until your "vacation" and your ability to post pics, rest up, join us around the campfire and tell tales.......

No breakfast in bed, but he does cook supper alot which is great with me..... Sorted the clothes cupboards and closets today....threw out some stuff that either were wore out or as old as dirt and not worn in a long time....this was after I spent the morning cleaning sites while Ernie cleaned fire rings. We are full again tonight. More returning troops..... Tomorrow, if I get the chance, I'll attack the cupboards and pantry in the Kitchen/livingroom area....that's one of the bad things about being parked for 6 months....stuff seems to gather and multiply.... all over...so got to get organize and secured so stuff doesn't fall out when we roll.... And yes, when we get to the R&R spot, I'll take lots of photos and post us being lazy.....

definately good to hear from you, I saw you popped in on occassion but I know
when your busy, your busy! Will enjoy hearing your stories when you have time.
AND of course will enjoy seeing your lazy pictures

know what you mean Lori. leaving tomorrow or the next day and sure have a mess to put away!!! what happens when you are in one place for very long
