THank You Postcards week 2 and more...

We had a lot of fun getting the book put together and finding information about the locations.
We had gathered up a few from Ron and Ali also..back when they did their fall trek.
The most interesting thing with those one's we found was the Virginia City, Montana..boot hill cemetary has 2 mice buried there. named Speedy, Squeaky, and Sneaky...because they had committed unmentionable crimes at the train station.

Another interesting tidbit of information was the Wisconsin...the now Dairy state...was once considered America's breadbasket, because it provided 1/6th of the nations wheat.

This week's fun adventures will take us to
Arizona and Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument and we will have to read more on Cristate Growth of the Cactus. Thank You Sparkle
Then to continue the Arizona visit we will venture to Kitt Peak National Observatory...Thank You Beth

Then from there we will head to the great Last Frontier...Alaska
To explore more about their wildlife and Dall Sheep..Thank You Sharon,
and while in Alaska we will take a trip to MT McKinley and learn about the tallest mountain in North America.. Thank You Liz

Then we head from the great white north to the white sand beaches of Hawaii..Thank You Linda

Oh, I'm so glad the ladies are sending postcards for Kodie! Sounds like allot of interesting fun for grown ups, too!
