Where's Liz? Scenic Cruising Glacier Bay

Very early in the morning we drifted silently into College Fjord, and the first glaciers came into view.

These glaciers are all named after colleges who have contributed funds and studies to the area. I know one is Havard, etc.

Some people may think that once you’ve seen a few glaciers, missing a few won’t matter…

These ice chunks look small but must be larger than a school bus.

awwwwww,.... loved the otterberg! I don't think I could sleep much,..too afraid i'd miss something. Were you close enough to catch a whif of that "whale breath?" The closeup of the glacier is amazing with the vertical streaks of color in it! Great photos as usual!

OMG your photos are awesome!!!!! That boat looked so small out there with all that ice - scary! Can anyone say Titanic? Loved the otters, the sunset, the ice - EVERYTHING. Keep them coming.

it's just breath taking... I got to start saving.. cause we have got to get a caravan together and go up.. Lord help Alaska when we all go at the same time.. It will never be the same... LOL

Look how many pets I can come home with... what's a few more.. :)

Great Pic Liz. Brings back such memories. Loved my trip to Alaska. Have you been ti Sitka and watched the Russian dancers?

Nan, we didn't stop in Sitka, so missed the Russian dancers. Next time....another reason to go back.

I never thought of "whale breath" :lol:

I love your pictures and seeing Alaska! I think the glaciers are beautiful but I would be a little afraid of getting very close. What a great bunch of memories you must have. Thank you so much for sharing.
