PARADE FOR HOMECOMING OLYMPIC ATHLETES

Here are a few of the pics I took, with my favorite kids labeled----the ones I have taught over the years. They had a cardboard cutout of Andrew Weibrecht from Lake Placid, as he was already out of the country in another competition!

Bloomingdale Elementary School where my kids began their school careers. Both Tim and Billy were my students when I was subbing there.
Vermontville's entourage in the parade, carrying the banner we sported on our town hall for the Olympics time. I would have marched with them had I not wanted to take these pictures!

A good half hour after the parade, people still pouring into the town hall.
Athletes and state senators and high mukky-mucks to left front, waiting to give congrats speeches from Governor Patterson and awards, etc.
