This looks like the spot we will be saying. It is nice to have the pool and such for the kids..especially after a day of hiking and the hot tub for mom and dad.

THey have 2 site options that we are looking at. Now IMO there is nothing like a nice campfire and roasting marshmallows. I am also aware that sometimes by late July the fire bans are in place and there is no campfires allowed. Which I am fine with..and understand completely.

So this is the site descriptions..
Full hookup pull though
Great sites! Make some campfire memories roasting marshmallows under the pines. Sites are a little closer together but located near restrooms and new laundry facilities. Make your plans now!

OR..full hook ups pull through
Highly requested! These spacious sites have 360 degree views and are landscaped with grass and trees. Plenty of room for slideouts. Great satellite & wifi reception. No campfires. Reserve now!

I am not sure if they have a group area campfire..I know some campgrounds have those...not sure if this one does.

I've always loved my campfires, but as this is a special trip, special destination,... I'd go with the 360° view. :D

I bought at Walmart a small propane "campfire" that you could use even with the "no campfire" rules. You can roast marshmellows over it, just not everyone at once. The nice thing is that when you're done, you just turn it off so no hot coals to worry about and no sparks flying.

Both sound great to me and each has their own best qualities. I think I would go for the view - as you can have a campfire most nights but you won't always have a great view.

Can't wait to see pictures of your vacation.
