WHAT A DIFFERENCE A DAY MAKES!
Posted: Fri Feb 26, 2010 4:31 pmA few pics I took today both before school, when the snow was stuck like sprayed-on heavy styrofaom to all the trees that were bowing to the ground, and after school when I had been plowed out and the snow had been blown off the trees. BUT----it's still snowing!
Lilac bush this morning.
Driveway area with heavy, wet snow stuck to EVERYTHING! Wind was howling, but snow was sticking through it all!
Back yard with truck after school today.
Snowbanks by old apple tree this afternoon after school.
Old basketball standard this afternoon-----easy dunking here!.
Same view as yesterday, but a day later----after school this afternoon. All the snow has fallen off the trees, thank heavens, except for my poor lilacs!
It's still snowing out there, and the wind has died down a bit, but is still blowing hard. Again, Saranac lake was NOTHING like it was out here this morning! All the buses out our way were very late getting to school, despite the hour delay!
Lots of celebration today for Bill Demong----he was also chosen to be the one to carry the flag for the closing ceremonies! Sigh! Glorious celebrations!
