Okay I'm ready for Spring. Woke up to SNOW this morning. When I tried to take the dogs out Sassy, who normally HATES getting her feet wet or cold, leaped out of the rig - must have had to really go potty. Buddy came right out - nothing stops him. The turned around and saw Sophie still inside NOT WANTING TO COME OUT. OK, now I have two dogs who don't like getting their feet wet or cold. My satellite keeps cutting in and out - probably has snow on it and I don't go up on the roof anymore. I can remember 100 degree days in February in years past which i hated so I had better quit complaining.

The Flamingos are wondering when the devil I'm going to take them somewhere warm.

Spring is here in the PNW...it arrived in late December...skipped winter.

Well, it skipped it's way down here! We're expected to have snow tonight, but sunshine tomorrow.

Thanks for the pics Karen, maybe you could use a hair dryer and warm up a spot of grass for Sophie! :lol:

I'm soooooooooooo glad I'm in Mexico! Feel for you there, though - I just don't want to do that snow. And you will all be able to gloat to me this summer when I'm in rainy Alaska - as I'm sure I won't be as lucky weatherwise there this year as I was last year! Hoping, though!

Since you already have that nasty weather out there, please keep it instead of sending it this way. I will gladly give you reports on spring if we ever see it here. (Snow in our forecast too)

I am not going to tell you that it was 84 and sunny in Florida yesterday. Nope, not going to brag about how nice it is here now.

Nope, I wouldn't brag, especially since it's supposed to go back down to 35* tonight and 24* tomorrow night.

I can go with chilly nights and rainy night....but appreciate the clear skies in the morning and the temps rising to comfortable by 10 AM

Like Kristy said, we have had some Spring like weather for the last two months. Had one little snow storm in November and nothing but warm and sunny days here in the Pacific Northwest.

The rain did start yesterday and it was a little gray throughout the day yesterday. Today it has been raining off/on. When I look off to the north I see a little clear skies. Hope the rain holds off while we move the motor home today. It just makes setting up so much easier without it raining.

Sure hope it starts to warm up for those of you getting all the snow.

Well, I sure know where it ISN'T!!!

Just took a few pics when I got home from school just now. The Tri-lakes schools were the the only 3 open in the entire north country today! There was barely any snow in Saranac Lake!

Our roads were so treacherous this morning until I got behind a plow/sander in Bloomingdale------tons of slushy, wet snow over ice and the snow was coming down so hard the visibility was good for about only one car ahead of me.

HOWEVER, when I neared the school, there was barely any snow there! What a gyp!

It's not here either! We got about 12" so far,.... but that's ok, will add to the water table and woodland greenery come spring.

I am soooo tired of cold wet weather! This is NOT why I live in SoCal! But at least we haven't had any snow this year, just some hail. Not that we haven't had some in the past, but usually only a light smattering every 10 years or so.

Soos, your house is adorable!! Looks like a little Swiss chalet!

It has been cold again here (hovering around zero) for a couple of days but is going to start warming up. Suppose to be in the mid 30's this weekend. Can't wait to see green grass again! I am giving up my garage space at the end of Feb (to save some $$) and will be parking outside again, so I hope we don't have too much more cold weather and snow, altho March is our biggest snow month. So I better not put the boots away yet
