Okay, I'll start.

Does anyone have any experience with whole grain soy flour (28g = 8 carbs - flour = 22 carbs)?
Is it edible or one of those things you'd just rather do without (like fake salt or whole grain pasta)??

..

Bag the soy flour. Since my return from Japan in Nov I haven't bought a loaf of bread or any hard cheese. I just eat whatever I would put between the bread with a fork or fingers. If I'm out and am served bread, well that's a different story. I always eat what is served. Thanks Mitch for starting the healthy thread. I'm going to the fitness center and think of you and Bill Clinton. We are all in the same boat.

I can't comment right now....I just finished a piece of birthday cake my granddaughters thought we ought to eat to celebrate Abe Lincoln's birthday. But I'll think of something healthy later.

Why not try whole wheat flour instead of just plain white flour?

Definitely wheat flour, but make it unbleached. King Arthur Brand is a good one. I have been using it for about a year now and it's pretty good. It comes in all purpose too.

Cedar I understand you had to have the cake, your job is to encourage them --- to bake for you.
