Myrtle Beach, horses and the moon...

Last stop Thursday night before I hit my DD...... MYRTLE BEACH was just not as peaceful. Besides a few more people, there were horses on the beach (from Nov to end of Feb.) It was the one cantering out of control right towards us the had me worried. Not sure the others on the beach recognized that the one rider REALLY didn't have control It did look like fun though.
And besides getting free WiFi at Myrtle Beach, you do have to listen to the take off and arrival of the airplanes that pass overhead. The beach is in the direct path of the Myrtle Beach airport. One of the reason I wanted to stay at least one night though was that the pass through the dunes to the beach is very OPEN and wide (at Huntington Beach you had to pass through very closed pine shrubs) and well I wanted to walk down to the beach and see the moon on the water...... Even bring Herschel with me I felt safer walking the open path at Myrtle Beach
