Good visit with Snowball and Kerry

Had a very good visit with Sheila and Kerry today. They have parked their 5'ers in the area, close by but not on top of one another. Had to end up calling her as hadn't gotten the right hand turn at the dumpsters. Good thing we swapped phone numbers! But did finally get there a little bit past 1pm.
Sat and talked and talked. Also met Larry and Kerry's two furbabies. Beautiful King Charles Spaniels named Katy and Spencer. So of course that meant that Shade had company too. When Katy wandered off and Kerry got the treat bag and began shaking it in hopes of Katy hearing it, she sure had Shade's attention!! And Kerry gave Shade a goodie treat even tho she hadn't wandered off. Kerry is now Shade's very good friend.
Told Kelly as we were leaving our campsite to be sure and take her camera with us. Weeeelllll? You guessed it! We were so busy talking that we forgot all about the camera. But we will be sure to get pictures next visit. Now that we know how to find them we will have to go back of course!
I did see what was left of the awning tho! Poor dead thing was laying out behind the 5'er. I think Sheila said that the insurance guy was coming tomorrow? The whole time we were sitting outside the wind was blowing. It was just a tiny bit cool but the sun was shining it's heart out on us so it wasn't uncomfortable.
And while there Larry was busy cleaning out the back of the truck, said he busy finding things to keep busy and not sit on his behind gabbing! He found a small balloon that someone had given him and presented it to Kerry and said happy birthday. I thought he was just joking around. Then I get home and on the laptop. Lo and behold what do I see? A Happy Birthday Post to Kerry. Geeze!!! Had I known we would have sung Happy Birthday to ya! NOT! Hate that song!!!
One very good thing!!! Sheila had a small ele space heater that they were gonna take to the consignment shop to get rid of. YeeHaw! We bought it and it's running right now in the screen house. Very first thing I did when we got here was leave the carrying of everything else to Kelly and I plugged in the heater. It's not tropical but oh so much warmer than it would normally be in here. I am very comfortable sitting here tonight. Ahhhhhh
All in all it was a very good day. Thanks to Sheila and Kerry for the good conversation!!
