YAHOO! The sun came out, so Molly and I went skiing-----only half a loop, but it was tough going as I decided to ski rather than snowshoe first. The snow is deep enough that Molly can't catch any deer or bunnies, so she had a great time being free, trying to stay on top of my skis almost all the way around! Here are the pics I took.

My ski trail, with old Sidekick tracks under the snow. Where I had snowshoed a while ago, in the middle of the Kicker tracks, was the easiest place to ski, as I had packed the snow down a couple of times back then.

Almost home.

I smell bunnies!!

I hope you all had as good an afternoon as we are having! I hope to take another loop after I eat some lunch.

Soos, I know we tell you this all the time, but your place is so beautiful! Glad you felt good enough to get out and enjoy it today with Molly.

Soos, that is just beautiful!
I love the snow leading to your house - it's so smooth and pristine!
Just too much of it for my old bones.

It looks like my parking spot is under a lot of snow there. But I'm looking forward to the next visit!

Hey, I was going to say that, but you already did. So, I'll say pure instead. Just the right kind for sugar on snow. (At least where Molly didn't make yellow spots) Do you have maple trees on your property?

I would enjoy skiing on your trails, especially after you have them all packed.
