Here is an article about how the manatees have moved into the springs in the Crystal River due to the cold snap. There are hundreds of them at this one springs area called 3 Sisters. Last April, I was kayaking at that very spot with my girlfriend but there were only about 7 or 8 of them. These guys are just packed in like sardines right now trying to stay warm. Take a look...really amazing! The video at the bottom shows a baby with it's mom.

Poor babies----both no-footers and two-footers, as well! (And, of course, all the two-footers four-footers, too!)

Poor things - they probably wonder what the heck is going on. Hope it warms up there soon for every ones sake. Cost of fruit will be going way up.

Didn't think about the effect this cold is having on the local produce... Gas is going back up again too.
