Mazatlan Mural and Bottle Tree

Yesterday we drove to the new convention center here in Mazatlan to see this mural. It is 82 feet high and runs the full length of the building. It is kind of 3 D. Has over a half million mosaic pieces in it all applied by hand. It was designed by a 17 year old high school student. The whole mural

It is really really impressive - while I was taking pictures a guard yelled NO at us and ran us off. It's a public place don't know what that was about.
And for you who asked about the bottle Christmas tree. They were taking it apart today. Quite a project. Bottle by bottle
