I have a huge pile of dirt next to it but I have a feeling it is not going to fill it all up lol, I'll get some good top soil and then can't wait to get petunias, Marigolds ,Snapdragons and whatever in it. Those flowers thrive in the desert sunshine.

We have been dubbed " Party Central" here in Yuma because of the casita, we can put alot of people here for get-togethers, another reason why I want the back yard patio made. When it warms up we'll have the partys outside

I love the colors on the bricks on your planter box! What kind of bricks are those? Very pretty!

I hope you all took the time to notice how much slimmer and younger Jenny looks in her photo than in her Avatar, and in real life she looks even better! :D

Oh Sparkle you are a dear but if I lost any pounds I don't know where? LOL I miss my walk with Peaches and Beth!! It has been chilly this week so I have not ventured out much.
I need to water proof the flower box so I can add the dirt and get some top soil. I have some seeds started in the greenhouse but will mostly get things started after i come back from Quartzsite next month. Flowers at Lowes & Home Depot did not look good yet so will not buy any of those yet. I got a bunch of flowers seed packs though to get my own started.

The bricks are made in Mexico and I have been told they have been made with Pee in them...maybe that's why they are yellow & Red??? Ruben and a young fella did a good job and we may rehire him to do our back yard patio. I really have to push Dan to get the job done!! LOL

Hey Sparkle I have more of those good Margaritas....I surprised you and Beth did not do the pole dance on the flag pole LOL
Miss you!!

Our friends Brenda & Lou just arrived today and they have a BT cruiser I love it!! Jean you would love it too.

Okay, the obvious question is why pee in the brick mixture? So they don't have to give workers a break?

What caught my attention was red pee - now, that would scare the heck out of me if it was mine!

You got the Bah Humbug sign up!!!Yay! As for margaritas, we found that Rosita's restaurant here in San Felipe provides a free margarita with either lunch or dinner. Sure, they're smaller than the normally huge ones, but still very tasty.

The planter looks like a great Christmas present.
