San Felipe, Baja

We are all safe and well. Getting across the border at San Luis, CA. was no problem. All they wanted to see was our Mexcian Insurance and a quick peek through the RV. I think they were checking to see we weren't hiding any Americans wanting work in Mexico. Then Woah! No signs for San Felipe! We drove through town. Woah! Narrow congested streets. Alto - Stop signs on every block! I came through last and was having a heart attack trying to find the other two as there was no way they could stop and wait for me. However we all got together and asked for directions. Finally we were on our way. Big detours onto dirt roads, driving very slow. One Fedarele check. Again, no paperwork, just a quick check in the rig. They didn't even open a closet or cupboard door. Very polite. So anyway we get to San Felips and don't know where we are going. We ended up at a very small airport. It was getting dark and we had been warned by many people not to drive after dark. So the three old ladies went into the Airport and they let us stay in their parking lot overnight! :D
In the morning we found a campground, super view of the beach. It costs 16.00 a night, but we are going to negotiate a lower price for the week. BIG Sand dollars on the beach. Photos tomorrow as we know where to get Wi-Fi now.
Had a few minutes so added these photos. This was following Chris across a real desert going to San Felips. Blowing sand and it wasn't even that windy!

The airport where we spent the night. Thank you fellas!

And my view from the campground. More tomorrow.

A bit of drama for your entrance into the country, but you all seemed to handle it like the great women you are! I love the view from the campground you are at.
Looking forward to the 'rest of your journey'.
Take care all!

Wish I was with you guiys - looks like you're having fun and adventures. Where did you enter Mexico? You didn't go thru San Diego and Tijuana? Keep the pictures coming.

So glad to hear you are all safe and didn't get separated! That must have been a long dusty trail but looks like you finally ended up in a great place.
