We finally made it.... finished with the treatments for DH's prostrate cancer.....over done with and don't want to have to do that again!! he is still recouping gets tired easily but that will continue on for a few month's And we are now here in Quartzsite....Found our spot from last year still waiting for us and our old neighbors came over and welcomed us back...they've been here since Sept. how hot that must have been. We went from the single digits or close to it to last time we looked 60.2 . From frozen pipes (good reason not to wash dishes huh) to no excuses for not doing them....we just pretty much dropped the 5er and on Monday will get settled but for now are going to rest then some time tomorrow going to run down to Yuma hear there are some people there that I want to meet and or renew friendships :D

So glad you finally made it to your winter home. Was sorry when I didn't think I'd get to meet you this winter - and now, here it is going to happen. Looking forward to seeing you tomorrow! Come early and stay late. LOL - it's not my house, but I'm saying it anyway. How great is it, and I'm sure Dan will be thrilled to have Larry here - he's surrounded by women!

CONGRATS TO LARRY AND SHEILA!

It's been a long haul with those cancer treatments, but good to be aggressive with that nasty disease. Larry should be good to go for another century now!

I can't wait to see a picture of your winter home at Quartzite! That place and the Slabs have always beckoned to me, for some reason. I think it's so neat to think of re-connecting with friends and neighbors from last year! Some nice sun's rays, good food, days and nights of rest, friends and campfires----what a wonderful way to recover from a long medical treatment!

I hope one of you will be taking pics to share with the rest of us when you meet up with the 'gang' at Jenny's!

Yayyyy Sheila! Welcome home! So glad Larry's treatments are over and that the outcome is good. Jealous that you get to go down and party with the peeps but glad that you get to go. Sounds just like what the Dr. ordered! You've got all winter to get set up, so take your time and enjoy being back in good weather. Altho, it's been raining here for 2 days, sure hope it's not headed in your direction.

Beth and Jean, you guys are gonna love Sheila and Larry, 2 of the nicest folks I've ever met! Larry is another Dan, I swear those 2 could be clones.....and that's a good thing, there oughta be more of them out there.

Sharon, I met Sheila and Larry at The Crrrrooked Crrreek Rrrresort in Hill City, SD. when I was working there. You're right, great people, I was disapointed not to see them in Quartzsite when we were there, but now they are coming to us! :D

Hail, hail, the gangs all there! So why are Sharon and I sitting here in the rain? Actually, I'm off to Laughlin Tuesday - gotta go visit my money from time to time and leave some more so it doesn't get lonely.

So glad the treatments are OVER! Now you get to kick back and enjoy some quality down time. Hi everybody! Have a great time together!
