Wiest Lake outside of Brawley, CA

The first thing you notice is the smell. Then you become amazed at all the sea gulls out here in the desert. Then you realize both go together, and celebrate the fact that you're pretty much a vegetarian. I love seeing cattle out on the range. However, feedlots leave me cold. The lake is pretty, though, and the campground is quite nice - full hookups for $12 a night.

Oh yes, the pungent odor of feedlots. To the Farmer all he can smell is money. I paid 22.00 to not breath at a campground.
