Major grumpy mood

Gads!!! What a blue funk of a mood.
Kids spent the night at her Mom's but came home fighting. Good grief!!! Kelly's been snappy and snippy all day. We went to WalMart to get groceries and it all just went to he77 in a hand basket. I ran across more dang rude inconsiderate people in WalMart!!!! I was using one of the will battery operated buggies cause my knee twisted on me yesterday. MY God!!! I was taught to give way to someone in a wheelchair or with crutches or whatever physical handicap. People cut in front of me, got disgusted if I was looking at something on the shelf. Finally the last straw was a woman who ran smack into to me then told me to look out!!! OMG!!!!!! Geeze I was sitting still and she was the one pushing her cart into me. I got so flaming TICKED OFF!!! Any chance I had of a decent mood went right out the window!!! When Kelly asked me what was wrong and why was I mad??? I let her have it! I am up to my eyebrows with moods and attitudes!!!
We came home and David for sure knew something was up but knew better than to say anything. I think Kelly might have told him tho while I was in the kitchen? But I am in such a crappy mood that I even hollered at Shade and chased her out of the kitchen while I was getting supper around. After I got supper in the oven I went outside and cried. Felt a tiny bit better.
The one thing I hate the very most about this season is how rude and inconsiderate people are when shopping. Ya smile at someone in the store and most of them give ya this look like 'what's the matter with you?' or 'what the he77 you smiling about'? 'what are you a freak for smiling while shopping?'. Can't say I saw much joy, good cheer, well being and certainly no 'love for your fellow man' while shopping today.
Has anyone else noticed how nasty it's gotten over the years and how the people don't seem to give a rats behind about anyone while 'they' shop???
BAH HUMBUG!!!
I hope I am in a better mood tomorrow!!!!

Echo,\
As I use the handicapped buggies to shop all the time in Wal Mart, it isn't just this time of the year. People are that way ALL the time. I truly love the ones that stop their buggy at the end of the aisle in the middle so there is no room to go around on either side, then they walk all the way to the other end of the aisle to pick up a can good. You had better not touch their buggy either, or you will get cussed out. Been there, done that!!
Hope you get to feeling better soon. You know some of the stress and strain may be due to the fact that you don't know how your DIL is going to act from hour to hour. Got to be a lot of strain and stress on all of you.
Wishing you and yours a Happy Christmas and good thoughts and feelings.

Another day and in a better mood.
I am so grateful that I don't go thru days like yesterday very often.
Not fun. At the moment I am the only one home so it's total peace and quiet for right now. And that is settling my mood even more. By this evening I'm hoping that I will be good to go!!!
Marslet the friction and tension between the kids is one part of it. I can ignore a lot of it. But it just seemed like everything was miserable yesterday. And yeah I know that there are a lot of rude people out there who don't give a crap about anyone or anything. But this season seems to bring out the worst in some of them. ~sigh~

I could use a bazooka on some of the people in the grocery stores blocking the isles with their buggy. Some of the stores don't help with their displays in the isle. They just create a traffic jam. You know how wide the isles are at Sam's and they still manage to block those. It seems to be old home week for some people when they meet up at Sam's.
The ones that really get to me are the people that just about cause a wreck trying to get around you and cut in front. Then don't go a block and stop and turn. Where are the cops when these idiots are darting back and forth changing lanes.
Merry Christmas, it's just going to get worse for the next 2 weeks.

..I get through the grocery story a lot quicker by leaving the cart parallel to a cap end of the aisle and just walking down one and up the next. If there's more than I can carry, I just make two trips. Lets you weave in and out of those inconsiderate dolts if you're not pushing the cart. And it's better exercise!!
Glad your mood is improving, Echo! You'll be right as rain in no time. Let Shade give you a kissie!

Pick up a book by Janet Evanovich (sp?) grab a cuppa something hot and good and pull up a corner chair. She can make you laugh out loud. It always works for me.

I hate the people that come up to you when you are waiting in line to check out and state, not ask, that you don't mind if they get in front of you because they only have a few items and you have a cart full. Then they get in front of you.
When you tell them no, they look deeply offended and consider you the rude one. I do my best to not go shopping the two weeks before Christmas. Glad that your mood has improved Echo. Linda

This time of year was the most fun for me when I was shopping! But my poor kids only got caught out with me a couple of times before they caught on and then were old enough to refuse to go with me. It was always SO easy for me to feign being totally bonkers crazy!
Or I would pretend I was on probation from some local prison, mumbling under my breath about 'losing that damn probation officer'-----'sure hope nobody can see my weapons'------"If anybody cuts me off I might have to 'off' them today---I am in no mood for that kinda stuff!" Just mumbling inanely like a demented person worked quite well most of the time, too.
Other times I would fake that I was about to throw up and stagger into people blocking the aisles in front of me, gagging and holding my mouth all the while!
Once, while in line with someone trying to cut in front of me, I said that my meds were wearing off and if I didn't get my next dose in five minutes, I couldn't be held responsible for my behavior, and the rescue squad would have to be called! I was able to do this with a perfectly straight face, writhing and trembling and shaking all the while! You should have seen the backing off, and the rushing of getting me through the checkout by the poor cashier!
I learned these skills when trying to get a seat on the subway in Boston when I was in school there!
I have a feeling if I tried such antics in this day and age, 911 would be called, and I would be cuffed and hauled away! But I sure did have a fun time back when!
Sigh----the times they are a-changin'!

I can tell you how to avoid getting upset Echo, don't go to WalMart or Sam's it's too scary, Walmart particularly. You might run into Soos deciding to relive her youthful antics! Also lots of articles online that say it is cheaper to shop your local supermarket and follow their sales. Plus for one or two people buying in bulk leads to waste or waist! You feel guilty and think you could eat this stuff that you bought on sale. I try to buy local especially produce and meat.

now adays they would call 911, and then they would Taze you, then you would die of
a coronary or a brain hematoma from too much taze juice.
