Sparkle's post about the guy from Q made me think about "The Bare Necessities" song from the Jungle Book movie. He actually gives new meaning to the term! Anyway I had to look up the lyrics and they are right on as a motto for us rvwomen. In case you don't remember (or horrors! never saw the movie!).....here are the lyrics.....

That was one of my favorite movies, and I had the cassette tape too I played the music
for my little kids on the bus (way back then) used to sing right along too, thanks for
the memories, great lyrics.

Hmmm, guess the "bare necessities" would be different depending on who you are and your circumstances? food, water, shelter, medical needs taken care of, chocolate, glass of wine, beautiful view, good friend, family, possibilities, etc. carold

I guess we could pare down "stuff", but I think very few of us could live that fruegal. No phones, TV, extra vehicles,
computers.... I love my creature comforts.

Oh, NO..... Now that tune will be in my head all day..... But it is also one of my favorite movies, too....It is perky, so "Perky" I'll be all day!!!

Kinda' like "It's a Small World"...... Got Cha".....

I woke up yesterday morning with, "Don't cry for me, Argentina" from Evita going through my head. I've never even seen the movie. I think I was channeling Madonna.
