Posted: Wed Nov 18, 2009 2:56 pmI haven't 'checked in' on this board as often as I used to & so today when I saw all the good birthday wishes...I was absolutely amazed...You gals are so terrific & I'm just speechless that you would remember me...So I thank you with all my heart & want you to know you have made my day....
I spoke to Sharon some weeks ago & told her I was considering selling my beautiful Born Free RV...I just wanted her advice & of course as she told me, I'm the only one that can make that decision...Well Sharon, I still have it...just can't bring myself to sell it. Though I don't have the money right now to travel (& I really don't like traveling alone...), when I come to this website & read how so many of you get together, manage through so many challenges, visit so many great places & support each other so fully....it kinda gives me the courage to just hang in there till I can get a handle on finances. Then, maybe I can join in & meet some of you...So again...thank you all so much for the good wishes...for remembering me...for being such terrific gals...I am just amazed....Thank you...God Bless

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, EXCEL!!
And I know just what you mean about being leery of traveling alone, and about not having the money yet. I, too, am worried about retiring and having a fixed income for the rest of my life! But, many of these women on here have done just that, and are somehow making ends meet...I am trying to learn from them!
In the meantime, just hang in there, and enjoy whatever it is you are doing-----hope to meet you on the road somewhere down the line!
