Well, it's been a tough couple of weeks with no 'pooter, but I survived...somehow. Lost all of my pictures, all of my music, all of my favorites and all of the games I've bought over the years. I've been meaning to move all of that to an external hard drive that I bought over 6 months ago....guess that's what I get for procrastinating.

I've been busy catching up on all of the news, and even tho I haven't had time to reply to any of them, at least I'm kind of caught up on what everyone's been up to. Just got the computer back a couple of hours ago and after installing my wifi card, guess where's the 2nd place I went? Here, of course! Sorry, gals, but had to get some banking done before I could get over here and install a couple of other programs first.

Not a whole lot of news here, but I will say, since Evie let the cat out of the bag, my new toy is a RZR-S to go play in the sand. Vickie was right about that one. Can't wait to get out and tear up the dunes! The quad was killing me, made me sore the next day, so the kids were on my butt to get the RZR-S, much safer! And yes Diana, I still have the Liberty to pull behind Hope, so we still have transportation when we GTG.

Thank heavens I still have pictures on my camera from the Tn trip and the Boulder City, NV trip with the twins, so as soon as I have time I'll put them on the computer (another program to intstall...sigh) and get them out to you. Don't know if I'll have time before I head out on Sat, but I'll try. If nothing else, I'll get them on the computer and re-sized while I'm gone and post when I get back. No internet where I'm going, it's kind of out in the middle of nowheresville. Even cell service is spotty.

Yep, have been sitting here waiting for your return. Glad you're back, sorry you lost so much. I'm now worrying about my external drive and some of my flash drives - as that's where I now store so much. Going to have to get a 2nd one to back those up!!!! Don't even put my pictures on the computer anymore. So, I need a 2nd external to back up the first. This is getting scary -

Well, you were definitely missed. Sorry about losing all your stuff. Computers can be a joy or *****. I also would like to see a picture of your new toy with you in it. carold

Welcome back Sharon! I figured you'd end up getting a Rzr, lol, even Ronnie said he bet you got a Rzr S cause you'd told him you wanted one.
For those of you not knowing what it is, you can look back at pics I posted in August of ours: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=2618 But Sharon's will be made for sand where ours is made for mud and her's is probably still shiny and clean!

I just had my computer wiped clean and Windows, etc. installed again. Figured it was only a matter of time before it went, and considered its slowness a little advance warning. So now need to reinstall everything. I'd been meaning to move all the pictures to diffferent places anyway. After losing everything to a hard drive crash a few years ago (different computer), wasn't taking any chances. I'm sorry you lost all that stuff - it's not fun at all. Hope you're able to restore all the important things.

Whatever your new toy is, have fun with it. Right now I'm hanging around Blythe, CA, going by.through the dunes all the time on my way to and from San Diego.
