Hello Sistahs!!!!

Got home to David's at about 9:30pm Sunday night. Talk about shock!!! He could not believe that we were there, he even got crying and saying how much he had missed us. Surprised the heck out of me that he started crying!?!?

Well after being here a few days I guess I can understand him crying. Things are not bright and rosy in the household. David is a very unhappy boy...... Jenny is being a "Beotch"...... Baby Conner is just super handsome. ~sigh~ David and Jenny have done nothing but squabble since we've been here. It's so bad that Kelly and I almost left Tuesday. Jenny is bugging David that we are invading her space and taking over. I've gotten to hold my Grandson twice, have not even changed a diaper on him yet but "I am trying to take over"???? She complained that I fixed supper last night and didn't do up the dishes immediately also said the house reeked. I did up tuna and noodles. She ragged on David this morning that there were dirty dishes. When I told David that I was gonna do them he stepped back where Jenny couldn't see him and mouthed "no" that Jenny had told him that he had to do them. She barks and he jumps. Surprised he doesn't ask how high and what color! Kelly and I are feeling very uncomfortable in the house. I offered to set the tents up so that we wouldn't be in the house all the time, both David and Jenny said no. Jenny complained today that Kelly was napping on the couch? As far as I know Jenny hadn't even been out into the living room. But she said Kelly was taking up to much room on the couch and that she couldn't sit down.??? Mind you this is a sectional sofa and HUGE also there is a love seat right next to it. But I woke Kelly up and made her move. To tell you all the truth I'm not sure how long we will be able to handle it before we leave. The two of them got into a fight Monday night and I offered then to leave rather than cause problems. Jenny said, "No I want you to stay"? David said if I left that he was going too. OMG!!! What a mess this is here in TN. David says she has been like this since they got married in June. I could understand it if she had under went this change after the birth but not since June. David is my neat freak and has been doing most all of any housework that's needed to be done since Kelly and I left as Jenny hasn't done much more than some dishes. David also does the laundry for the three of them. I haven't seen Jenny do any more than sweep the center of the floor of the living room since we've been here.

All in all??? I am most unhappy to say I don't see this marriage lasting very long. Have no idea what will happen then.....

Not to sure how long we will stay in TN. But I know I would love to be in Fla in January!!!! WooHoo!!!! Then head west again. Sure to miss yakking with all my Sistahs!!!!! Other than the problems at David's house Kelly and I are doing well. I was so freaking glad to get here Sunday night and out of the Blazer!!! Gads we had taken showers in the motels we stayed in but didn't have any clean clothes to change into as we had packed them in my utility trailer on the blasted bottom. So it was so great to run the clothes thru the washer and put on fresh clean clothes!!!! Still haven't dug out out dufflebags yet either! But at least we have clean clothes on showered bodies!

Ok we are at "Books A Million" using the internet as the satellite hasn't been wired yet at David's. But it's almost 9pm and time to head back as it's a 45 minute drive to get to David's and I want no bitshing about coming in late and waking anyone up!

What a horrible situation you are in!
Your DIL sounds just awful and your poor son has to deal with this nightmare.
I feel bad for you and Kelly (and David, too!).

What part of Tennessee are you in? Friends or other family where you are?
Maybe you guys can work something out to be able to be in Florida in January!
I know everyone would love to see/meet you and Kelly!

Have you thought to what you're going to do if the situation stays the same?
I feel for you. How's your little beast dealing with all this conflict? Dogs are so sensitive...

Aw darn Echo, sorry to hear that things aren't going so well for the kids. There's too much of that going around these days. But, the important thing is that you have gotten to see and spend time with your grandbaby. Enjoy him while you are there.

Echo, I'm so sorry for the tension you and Kelly walked into. I'll keep them in my prayers.

So sorry you aren't getting to enjoy your grandbaby like you hoped. Hopefully for your son's sake she comes around and soon. Doesn't sound like a fun life.
Enjoy what you can and try to ignore the rest.

That "other" Carol must have been reading my mind. Looking forward to pics if possible of you and your grandchild. He's gonna love you know matter what and will always look forward to your visits. You can't change what you can't change, only your reaction to it. carold

Been kinda quiet here. We for the most part are walking around on kittens feet and feeling like we're tip toeing on egg shells. Even poor Shade is being quiet and trying to stay out of sight and out of the way. Poor little girl doesn't know what to make of the tension and squabbling that goes on at night. When it's just Kelly and I and sometimes David at home she acts like normal but as soon as Jenny is around she get under the table and her ears droop.

Spent time yesterday doing some more cleaning. Kelly had cleaned the bathroom the day before and did a super duper bang up job. I dust mopped and then mopped most of the floors. Cleaned some more in the kitchen and scrubbed the he77 out of the fridge. There was a big visible difference in the bathroom and kitchen but not a word about any of it from Jenny. David noticed big time! The bathtub gleamed so bright it about knocked his eyes out. Yesterday Jenny complained about the fruit flies in the kitchen. She wondered if maybe they came in on our groceries??? Told her, "Nope, they were in here before we brought any groceries in". Only brought in canned and packaged stuff anyway. Well Kelly found the source of the fruit flies..... Jenny and her best friend had cleaned out pumpkins and carved them. Best friend put all the pumpkin guts in a box here in the kitchen and never took care of it. Kelly moved the box, saw the wet floor so opened the box to see why it made the floor wet. OMG! Thought Kelly was gonna lose it!!! She jumped and back peddled away from that box!!! I was gonna take the trash to the dumpsters today but David said they were closed on the weekends. When I took Shade out I see David must have taken the trash with him to work this morning as it's not sitting outside any longer.

We do have to move? hide? the stuff we took off the trailer yesterday tho. Jenny is complaining that it is in the way and looks messy. It's some groceries that were on the back end of the trailer that got wet. Thankfully nothing got ruined. But what we brought in needs to be out of sight and out of the way. Tho nothing is in the way really. There are a couple of grocery bags and a tote in the living room and Kelly has cleaned the junk and boxes off the bakers shelf/rack and put some cans on it on newspaper to dry the bottoms. But today we need to get the stuff gathered up and out of sight so that she doesn't complain or rag on David.

David is no angel? He can be a P.I.T.A and aggravating as all get out. But I feel so badly for him. I feel badly for Jenny and Conner too!!! But the change that comes over David when Jenny comes home is kinda scary in a way. The 3 of us sat here talking a joking last night, just a little catching up and exchanging thoughts and ideas. David was laughing and grinning, his use to be normal self. Jenny got home and what a difference. His face literally paled and he got super quiet. Just seemed like his whole self, his aura pulled in on him and his eyes darkened. I can not imagine living like this for the past 5 or 6 months. Talk about a killing of spirit.

If they do split up??? Whatever relationship I might have been able to have with Conner will be right out the window I believe. I'm not even sure of what kind of relationship David would be able to have with him other than visitation rights.

My heart breaks for the 3 of them. Sarah? You kinda have the right of it on immature and you can add in a princess complex. Other than her using the broom in the center of the living room floor I have not seen her lift a finger to do any housework. She changes Conner's diaper and clothes in the living room, drops them on the floor and then bitzhs at David about picking them up. David is in a new job at a Honda dealer so he is working full time yet all house cleaning, laundry and cooking is up to him. I know, I know, we women do it all the time. But we women also bitzh up a storm and at least get the mates to help and not be slobs. Jenny desperately needs to grow up and become a full partner in this marriage or there wont be any marriage or family.

Right now all I can do is pray and be here as long as we are allowed to be for David.

the door would not hit me in the butt on my way out and my son would go with. Then see how well the DIL can handle it by herself.. w/ a new baby! Sometimes ya just gotta take the bull by the horns and cut your losses and save yourself rather than go down w/ the ship!!!
