This was shared on a dog forum I'm on and they all raved about it
so I'm gonna get some cause I love pancakes and they say you can make
just one or many. Anybody else heard about this? The one gal said she
paid 4.50 for the can of pancakes.

Looks easy enough, just wonder how it really is. Of course all the comments praise it, they probably wouldn't put any of the bad ones on their website. Who knows, maybe it really is the best thing since sliced bread (like one comment said). I entered my zip code and it's not available in my area, so I won't be trying it.

That looks great, hope they are good. 2 stores here have them so I will be looking for them.
The hotel I stayed at in San Antonio had a waffle maker in the shape of the state of Texas. There was a batter dispenser so you could make your own waffle. I thought that was so cute. I know, I lead a sheltered life.

I read the Consumer Reports article...a positive review. It is available locally, so I'll try it. More expensive per serving than making your own, but certainly would be handy when traveling.

As much as I love pancakes, this looks great! I'm going to drive into San Diego to visit my mom this weekend, so will get some and try it out.

Think I'll just stick with the frozen ones which seem would be fresher.

Here's a lengthy discussion about Pancakes in a Can on rv.net, dating back to 2007:

I'm having trouble reconciling "organic" with the aerosolized can. Just sayin' ....

I bought a can at the Winn-Dixie here. My DH's take on them was "Well, they're pancakes". They were good but nothing out of the ordinary. I will probably keep a can because they are so easy. I'm not going to make pancake batter just for me and a box of mix gets old before I would finish it. This way I can make one pancake when I want one.

I saw the TX shaped waffle iron in several gift shops when I was in San antonio. Thought it was neat, but since i NEVER make waffles, didn't buy it.

I saw this in my grocery store yesterday. It was in the case with the eggs and egg beaters. I didn't take time to read the ingredients or nutritional info on it.

I bought a can the other day - noticed this morning it said "Organic Batter Blaster," so am not sure if there is a "Regular." It was almost $6 for an 18 ounce can that makes approx. 28 - 4" pancakes. A little spendy perhaps, but they taste quite good. And very easy and convenient.
Ingredients:
Filtered water
Organic Wheat Flour (unbleached)
Organic Cane Sugar
Organic eggs
Sodium Lactate (to inhibit spoilage)
Organic Soybean Powder
Leavening
Sea Salt
Organic Rice Bran Extract
Propellant
