Shorter days are here again ...

Happy Standard Time. Sunset here will be at 5:23 PM. I'll start having to spend my daylight wisely.
My roommate and I went for a short hike up one of the local canyons, and it seems everyone
else had the same idea. But we got out, breathed fresh air and felt the sun on our faces. Good
enough for today.

Yeah, we are heading into the mole time when, if you work, you leave in the dark and come home in the dark. Like a mole. Janice, you are so right - we'll have to learn to hoard our daylight hours and use them wisely. For me, it's making sure my errands are completed before dark. I HATE driving in the dark!

I've been driving to work in the dark up here for about a month-----sure was GOOD to have it daylight this morning! Am able to spot the deer now before they suddenly appear in front of me.
Sorry for those of you have to drive home in the dark...but not sorry enough to not be happy for the time change!
