We are supposed to be having a HUGE rain storm today and tomorrow. It has been very windy and raining so far today.

Cat, what CG are you staying in Oceano? I live in AG which is very close to Oceano. I got your PM but guess mine aren't going thru???

lets hope your rain subsides a little for you to enjoy the campground.
Do you have books to read to keep you busy when your stuck indoors?

It's still coming down in buckets in central CA Linda! Has been since early this morning. About the time you posted I checked the rain gauge, we had close to 2 inches. By morning I bet it will hit 3....this is a BIG storm for so early in the fall! And I moved my RT far away from the big oaks.
I'm not too sure I would be lucky enough to have another branch just miss me the way one did at the Bishop gtg! Stay dry....

Diana, my son/family live between Sacramento and San Fran and my DIL sent pictures of the deluge they got yesterday (4+in), plus all the branches/limbs in their drive and swimming pool. Some of their trees being bent over from the horrific winds! Pretty scary stuff!

Hi - It's Wednesday AM and the rain has subsided but the wind is blowing some. I sent out the first email in hopes to connect with Cat - she is camping very close to where I live but I'm not sure just exactly where.

Anyway, we really need the rain. Diana, where in central CA are you. I'm close to Pismo. The pups haven't even had a walk in a couple of days. Rags just hates to get his little feet wet - not that I blame him. Yesterday, Ruffles came in and was ALL wet so she doesn't mind the rain so much. Funny thing, she hates a bath tho.

I heard on the news this AM that the areas that were hit by the fires over the summer are going to have mudslides, due to the loss of ground cover, with all this rain. Any of our forum sisters in these area? If so be careful and stay safe. Linda

Hi Linda(s)! I'm in the highway 120 area, foothills just west of Yosemite. Still big rain cells passing by today, you may see them later. The gauge was just at 3 inches this morning. My dad and sister live about 3 miles apart and have a friendly rain competition every winter. Today, sister was ahead at 3.0, Dad trailing at 2.9.
They crack me up every day telling you is current front runner!
