I had a mammogram last week, and I got called back to schedule a second scan and
an ultrasound. Long story short, today was that day and I got a clean bill of health.

Yippee!!

Wonderful news. I know from experience what a relief that can be, especially after they let you wonder about it for a while.

You're so right, Marda. I've been mopping up spit for days.

Actually, I've been really calm. Half the time I forgot the re-screening was coming up. UNTIL last night, when I was watching the TV show Brothers and Sisters, when one of my favorite characters (Kitty, portrayed by Calista Flockhart) was diagnosed with cancer. Then I started to get scared and teary. But I had a feeling that it would all come out fine.

Glad everything turned out OK. I celebrated my little scare (lung xray) by getting a tattoo.

CONGRATS, Janice!

For this reason, I will no longer have a mammogram without a trained x-ray tech to read the results right then and there. The stress of waiting and anticipating really wrecks me, as I'm sure it did you!

I need to schedule my yearly one right now, as a matter of fact!

Janice - Congrats on a new mammo. It is very scarey when they think they see "something". Take care,

Linda

Janice, you might want to enquire just WHERE the tattoo is before requesting pictures.
