Just felt like sharing.
This morning dawned crisp with a light frost and I decided to take my camera along when I walked Choco.
Here's my neighbor's maples just starting to turn. They are glorious but most of her leaves blow in my yard!!
Here is the wetlands next to our park where Choco goes off leash.
This pear tree grows wild along the creek. Not sure what kind of pears they are but the are only bout 2 1/2 " high, tough brown skinned, but very sweet tasty flesh inside.
View from the wetlands.
Can anyone identify this tree?
Or this bush?
Or this bush with white berries?
Another pear tree in someone's yard with huge pears.

I love the stroll through your neighborhood!! Pears are my favorite fruit, the little brown
ones I think are the anju but I wouldn't swear by it without doing my research. Can't
tell ya what the berries are, sorry. Thanks for posting those lovely pictures.

The last red berry pic looks like rosehips. They are the seeds of wild roses. Rosehip Syrup was very popular in Britain. The white berries, I think, are SnowBerries.

I also think the smaller pears are Sickles. Very good taste. Love the photos.

Jean, now that you've said rose hips, I remember that that bush did have roses on it earlier this summer
I will have to google sickle pears and check those out. That is a new one for me. Thanks
On edit: seckel pears. Found the correct spelling when I googled. Still not sure if this is them as they say seckel pears are known for having some red on them. These definately don't have any red.

I love pears warmed by the sun! Makes me wish we could grow pears up here!
