I am parked in the Mercer County Fairgrounds, Celina , OH (Northwestern Ohio) along with another 120 plus rigs......the majority are Class A's and 5th Wheels..... Have been enjoying the seminars and spending money I shouldn't on things I want/need.... I attended the presentation on traveling to Alaska. It was very good and I have the handout with their recommended references.....

Can you tell we are at a fairground, complete with horse barns.

And rows and rows of rigs...

Izzy and Remi playing in their freedom after waiting patiently for me to get back from ignoring them.....can you say cabin fever. The weather has been chilly and very windy. They have been on walks but not as long as they would had it been warm and sunny out!

Oh, Tina, we've got our two boys, but I wanted to see little Hershels, LOL. I just love his expressions. He's gonna make Ronnie miss our boys so much when we're at the TN GTG.

Great pictres! Are you planning a trip to Alaska? I've lived up here for 30 years and love it. Let me know if you have any questions that I might be able to help with.

Oh, what fun, Tina!! I sure wish we had such goings on in this part of the country. You'd think we'd be unindated with rallies being in the NW where the great outdoors is touted so much!

Tina, I see that Geeks on Tour are there...did you take their seminar and learn how to use Picasa? Their tutorial is probably a lot better than ours was! LOL

That is one rally that I'd like to go to some day...

Can Picasa take the place of Photobucket?

I have taken some of their seminars (Geeks On Tour) last year, but they operate off the PC plat form and that picture system requires a PC...I have the Apple lap top...so not too helpful...I actually don't remember if it can replace Photo Bucket...I sort of forgot to listen as well when I knew I couldn't use it...and it was a year ago  but their Blog info and goggle earth stuff is transferable.......I got the inservice on Fire Safety today.....it was very good....made me glad that I did not have a Diesel Pusher.... the engine fires....

Don't tell me about engine fires in a diesel...please :o

Yes, Picasa can take the place of photobucket and is imho easier to use. It is what I use to post my pictures on here.

That was just to prove that I was really there! :) I did write on my survey that it might be nice to have a "Traveling Solo" session early in the Rally. Last year I just happened to be parked next to Margie (who gave me the information rearding this Forum) and Deb Stubb....So we met early on. As you can imagine most attendees were couples and many full-timers knew each other. I don't think many of the attendees were there by themselves. I had met Carey last year, he is a full-timer. If I were a real newbe...it would have been hard. As it is you just have to volunteer and keep saying hi a lot! Golden dog helps! Neat, neat sessions though.....I really liked the one on volunteering at Federal Wild Life Refuges. It is a lot like Peggy said at the PA GTG....it is more fun when you know folks and have people to sit with at campfires!
