Posted: Sun Sep 27, 2009 5:15 amThank you for all the birthday wishes and blessings! I had one of the best birthdays I can remember having in a long time. 
The weather was near perfect. I spent the entire day with my DD and her family. We traveled to two different towns to attend two of my GDs soccer games. My 9 yr old GDs team won their first game so we all went out for ice cream afterward. Then I was treated to a birthday dinner. My SIL surprised me when he came back to the table with a nice piece of apple pie with a birthday candle in it! We all shared the pie as we were pretty stuffed from the meal. I had a roast pork sandwich with mango sauce on parmesan bread with a cup of navy bean soup. Yum!
When I got home my neighbor greeted me with balloons and a gift. I got a nice gift in the mail from my long time girlfriend, and later my military son, who is in the Philippines, called! My finance guy even called and left a happy birthday mssg. and my friend who is workamping at the north entrance of Yellowstone had called so I called her back. She was on her way home from work and pulled over to talk to me, but had to wait for a bison to get out of the way!
I had left Choco in the house by himself before, but never for 8 hrs straight, and he did great. I leave the patio door opened enough so he can go out.
Yep, I'm so blessed beyond what I deserve!
