When you see something in a post that you want to quote, you, of course, hit the quote button.
That person's ENTIRE post will show up in your white typing window. Delete any part of the quote you don't want included, but you MUST have the beginning QUOTE code AND the ending QUOTE code, like what's highlighted below. You MUST HAVE ALL code as highlighted included in your quote. (It's a little hard to see the ending bracket after the opening quote - Bethers"] like this giant red end bracket.
Then you just type your reply starting below the /quote end bracket (the very last thing I highlighted.)
