In one of the threads where Lori has posted, click on her user name Rvgrammy. On the next page look on the left and see where it says 'contact rvgrammy'? It should say send rvgrammy a pm. Click on that.

You sent me a PM....??
Just kidding.....Had problems learning this until I found out that if you are sending it straight from the message center, you need to first find the person in the "look up members " find a member list....mark it...scroll down the page, I think it will tell you to "save" or what ever....then back in the message page you got to click "add" and it will add it ....then write the message ...then submit....
Hope this helps....play with it .....I explained it the best I could at 11:34pm after a couple glasses of wine at the PA GTG.....
Maybe some one else will do a better job....
Hope to hear from you soon....

Sheila, there are multiple ways to do the pm as you can see by the responses, but you actually had everything right in your original try except for one tiny step. When you typed in rvgrammy1953 for who you wanted it to go to, there is a box to the right of that, that says "Add" if you click on that it adds her name as the recipient of the pm. You did everything else right, so there, go try it again.

Or,.... find a message that she's posted,... and under her username on the right you will see PM and also an envelope for email. Click on PM and it will create a response to that message,... just delete the text you don't want and create a new message. I call that my "lazy" way. That's how I do it.

the way I do it....
on any post that person has made, over to the right there is a button that
says pm, I click on that and a box opens with the new pm, but usually has
a bunch of stuff from that current post as a quote, no biggie, I just delete
it all and type my own message. You'll notice at the top
where it says "to" it has the name of the person your sending to and next
to that is a little box with an X in it. I've never had a problem doing it this
way. I just hit send.

Well I guess Sheila really doesn't know how to do PM's.
I just got a reply to one I sent last year! Or thereabouts. I wondered why she wasn't speaking to me! All is forgiven, Sna-ba (Scottish for Snowball)
