Some Alaska pics

Am going to send some pics of scenery, an eagle, and my whale. Look closely at the pic of the glacier and you will see brown spots on the ice, they are seals.

Love that last shot,... is the water really turquoise colored?

This is the first set of pictures I posted. The ship in the picture is our ship the Golden Princess. The seals were taken at the foot of Sawyer glacier, and I have been calling the area wrong, it is Tracey Arms, not Tracey Ford, the picture os Jim and I was made on our balcony with the glacier in the background. In Skagway, we took the White Pass Railroad and the picture is of the area at the top where the train turned around. There was some beautiful scenery up there.

I love Alaska! I was there in '07 with a THEN fiance'. Had a great trip and drove the road home after having flown up to meet him in Anchorage. I will do it again,, this time ME driving. I'll be sure and post it when it happens so anyone that cares to can caravan along w/ me! I gotta say, GOD was showing off when He made Alaska!~ ! ! ! !

Thanks for sharing. I took pics from downtown Skagway that makes it look like the cruise ships are driving right onto the road. That way in a couple other ports also.
I love cruises, and if anyone has only time for a cruise/land vacation to AK - TAKE IT. But if you have more time - do the entire summer - like I did this year - and I still have things I haven't seen/done.
