Pics of what I did today--and more

Here are some pics of what I accomplished today and the day before windy yesterday. I left out the good half hour I spent today getting orange paint out of my hair! In order to paint the orange slats on the balcony, I had to stick my head between them and reach at a horrible angle. I had solid orange hair at one point! ACK!!
My scaffolding with no railings makes me too dizzy to use for very long, what with that labyrinthitis I still have and can manage usually ok on wide, solid ground. My stepladder gets me sort of up there, with something to hold onto, but I still need to do most of the painting from the balcony deck with head between slats.
Tomorrow, if weather is still good, I will tackle the brown parts of the entire deck and balcony. I have no clue how I will ever paint that scalloped peak of the roof which desperately needs scraping and orange paint. I can reach just a smidgeon of it from the balcony, but it is too far far forward for me to get to via a ladder on balcony deck. I suppose I can get a huge, tall ladder and go up from the front deck. As soon as I upload these pics, I am headed to a much-needed hot bath!
A few of my painting supplies.
Orange diagonals on front deck I painted first. Snow fence gets in the way, but my lights are interwoven in that so I don't want to take it down. I will keep it up on top rail for winter so I can shovel snow off under the rails.
New orange screen door, one coat. Rest of bare wood will be brown.
Icky balcony slats needing paint.
Painted balcony slats and front deck diagonals.
Inside of south balcony slats done.
Icky north balcony slats and deck still awaiting paint.
Wild asters between my lawn and the woods. With no mowing, that's what my lawn would look like by this time of year!
Another view of wildflowers at lawn's edge.
British Soldiers lichen.
Buggy yellow wildflowers.
Telescopic view of distant mountains from north balcony.
And that was my day!!!! Off to the tub I go!
