I have been really busy sorting through stuff that we have in our storage unit and our basement. It is amazing the stuff that collects over 10 years. It use to not be a big deal...I would not end up with lots and lots of stuff....when DH was Active Duty military we moved every 2-3 years..so it was easy to purge things.
I have been on a major declutter kick and even shredding piles of paperwork that I don't really need to keep...like why do I need phone bills and cable bills and such for the last 10 years. If anything was needed for Tax items..I have it in the tax file for that year. Plus I have realized that I have too much stuff...stuff that I have been keeping...because I might just need it someday. I think that comes from the "financially leaner years"..for the most part now if I really need it again I can just go and buy it...now granted most of it craft, sewing type things.
So what I have been doing is checking email in the morning then getting off the lap top...you see I have this bad habit..if I check more then email...I spend 1-2 hours checking and reading all the boards.
I can official say I am now not a saver and keeper of all.
